Given the passing efficiency differences between Dally and Smith, Smith never really
had a chance!!!!!
His stable of runners have not posed the kind of threat a TO QB needs.
His receiving core,...that's more than obvious.
His offensive line,...experienced, but, always in need of the MASH unit.
Would Dally had fared better with the same offensive weapons? Hard to tell and
something we will never know.
Personally, I am not a fan of the TO, unless you have two 1000 yd runners
and a Ramses Barden.
If, Coach Walsh has a projected 2010 QB freshman on the sideline redshirting, I'd
give it some serious thought to letting him play in these last 2 games.
But, only if he is physically ready.
