Well, Coach Walsh is just human. He & his staff are no mental giants when it comes to
coaching a football team.
His team played a very mediocre team and was embarrassed after the first half.
What adjustments did he make at half time---nothing that showed an improvement
in his team's performance.
(I hope he doesn't use the injury bug excuse at the weekly media show.)
He flat out got out played by a bunch of guys who wanted the 'win' more!!!!!!!
And, there really is no excuse for that kind of loss.
Walsh's pattern for the first 8 games of his Cal Poly coaching career, shows me that
HIS coaching ability alone will not win us games. He is just not that capable.
He needs lots and lots of raw talent.
Another thing that I have noticed about this coaching staff is its lack of player discipline.
I can't remember a season where we had so many personal penalties. And, just penalties in general.
Today's loss was ugly. Walsh needs to bounce back next Saturday and it all starts with a
solid game plan.
