Looks like the women will spend so many days in suitcase and not be home for along time. I hope they will have a home tournament but not see an official schedule. I did some internet searching and saw a three week schedule by doing a lot of hunting. Aug28 Oregon State 29 Pepperdine 30 Colorado State Colorado State Tournament Sept 4 BYU 5 Kansas State 5 Webber State BYU Tournament at Utah Sept 6 Sept 11 Denver Univ 12 San Diego 12 Univ of Colorado Colorado / Denver Tournament Good Luck Mustangs !!!!

Posts: 739 07/09/09 4:29 PM	Volleyball schedule has been officially released: http://www.gopoly.com/ind...031&article_id=72431 Interesting schedule, but I'm more interested in the update to the roster page on gopoly.com. The incoming freshman aren't listed, but several players who would be eligible next year have been removed: Lindsay Helberg, Grace Sprague, Gaby Rivera and Caitlin Suttich. I wonder if Stevenson ran some of the girls off because of his supposedly awesome incoming recruiting class - this article from IU says that Prep Volleyball ranked Poly's incoming class 9th best in the country: http://iuhoosiers.cstv.co.../spec-rel/060309aae.html (I can't find the actual article on prepvolleyball.com; it might be subscription-only). Posts: 1361 07/09/09 5:16 PM	It's not as tough as last year's schedule, but very solid! I LIKE IT!!!! Particularly, the tournament at Mott is very exciting. Thanks to Mission Inn of Pismo Beach. (Like to see the Cliffs do it one year) Where did all the juniors/seniors go? Maybe, the 2 recruits from the islands had something to do with it! Excellent recruiting class,....Steveson did not like the 3rd place finish last year. GoPOLY!!!

He had always done a solid job recruiting, and having Stevenson as a head coach (whom is working with the US National team again) doesnt hurt, so best of luck coach Johnson at Austin Peay! As for the squad, Suttich wasn't going to get much play because we had a solid libero in Lauren Law as we had much taller girls on the squad, thus Suttich would probably only have come in to serve. Santos is a surprise as she had been part of the Puerto Rican national teams as was Helberg, maybe something to do with her foot? I recall her in a boot for most of the year, so either she wasn't getting healthy or she lost the desire to play. I'm sure Stevenson is a demanding coach to play for, but his records have spoken for itself. Good luck lady mustangs! * remember, my opinions are my own, and thats what they are OPINIONS *
